What We Like

This solar post cap light is easy to install with self-adhesive pads and mounting hardware, fitting securely on a 4 x 4 fence post. Directions are easy to follow and the lights emit a soft glow that looks nice.

What We Don't Like

Some people have had difficulty charging the light. Before returning the light, check the battery compartment to see if the protective covering has been removed from the NiCad battery. The light won't charge if the covering is still there. Some have had difficulty installing the lights and making them work properly.

Depending on how much light you expect or need, you may need to install several of these solar post cap lights. One drawback may be that lights that get more shade may not shine as bright as those in full sun, creating an uneven amount of light.
